We Are All Artists: What...Why...How...When?
‘We Are All Artists’ has many dimensions and no barriers to whom it reaches nor to whom participates. It is a forum for artists to showcase their work to a wider audience both on a local and international level. This is an opportunity for viewers to explore the world of Art, regardless of their knowledge of Art disciplines. And it is a chance to increase the awareness and the community’s involvement in the Arts.
This on-line art space was created by Rossanne Pellegrino, who initially was seeking a way in which emerging artists could showcase their artwork within their own communities as well as in international circles. In the transition from emerging to practicing artists, the question of: how do I get there? is an obstacle that many artists face when trying to realise their dream of carving a profession from their creative abilities. As well as serving as a networking tool and an on-line portfolio for artists, ‘We Are All Artists' also aims to increase audience involvement in the Arts. Art should not be exclusive, nor a luxury - it should be available to all, whether you are an active creator of art or an observer.
In the current economic climate it is becoming ever more important to show people how vital the Arts is in our community- as a means of creative outlet, of broadening horizons, challenging opinions and ideals, not to mention providing the opportunity to talk about a subject other than the crashing markets. Yet in saying that, the use of Art is an ideal platform in which to promote discussion on this topic. Or it is away of thinking outside the square for artists when it comes to creating and showcasing work.
In response to this current financial situation, Rossanne Pellegrino has created UNDER 100, a gallery on We Are All Artists that features original artwork for under £100. This also reflects the aims of the website itself: art should not be exclusive and should be accessible to all.
‘We Are All Artists’ invites all to view the art work showcased, the artist information and published written pieces. If you would like regular updates of new artists appearing on the site, media and upcoming events, please contact us to be included in our mailing list. If you would like to have your art work or literature featured on ‘We Are All Artists’, please contact We Are All Artists with several examples of your work.
How to purchase artwork
If you have your own ideas in mind for a piece of artwork for the home, office or as a gift and would like work commissioned by an artist featured on this website, please contact Rossanne Pellegrino for assistance.
How to purchase art work:
1. Once you have chosen the image you wish to buy, click on it to enlarge.
2. When the image is enlarged, you will see the option to add to your cart. Most images have various pricing options, so don't forget to click on the drop down menu to see all sizing and pricing options available.
3. Select the pricing option you would like to purchase and click on add to cart.
4. Your cart can be viewed at any time. Postage is added on to your item, and this can be seen in your cart. Ammendments to your cart can also be made at any time.
Payment is made via Paypal (costs include taxes). If you would like to pay by money order please contact We Are All Artists with the details of your purchase, including the title of the work and the artist's name.
All works are couriered via a reputable courier company, with extreme care and caution taken with the handling of goods.
