Kathryn Sprigg is an Australian Photographer whose style is marked by candid Photography, capturing spontaneous moments on film which are a direct reflection of how she has perceived life at that very moment, in her mind. With no formal training or understanding of how a camera technically functions, the images have been captured with little or no planning, no consideration to light, shutter speed - or any setting for that matter. Born and raised on a Merino Sheep Stud in Tambellup, Western Australia, Sprigg is now based in Perth - although the backdrop to take centre stage for the majority of her work is one of the world's most exciting playgrounds: the city that never sleeps, New York.
