PETER KYTE (FOTOG) - PEOPLE & PLACES, URBAN & ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHY - Peter is a town planner as well as urban photographer and has much experience of city environments and how they function. He specialises in photographically celebrating all that makes up our urban and social environment - cultural events, festivals, people in the street, people at work, people at play, architecture and open spaces, regeneration and community action projects.
Peter’s work might normally be described as 'Street Photography' but he sees his remit as wider than that. He works to imaginatively record the rich tapestry of human life and activity... the things people do, the places and buildings they live in, the fun, the hardships, the multitude of moments that make up our lives.
His creative desire is to get right into urban life and try and develop a way to see and understand everything within it. To that end, he believes strongly in developing art as a shared form with the client and welcomes commissions where clients suggest imaginative photographic approaches and ideas. His URBAN WORDS series, where he is inviting new photo-ideas, is one example of this.

URBAN PHOTOGRAPHIC FOCUS: Specialising in urban, street, ‘people and places’ and architectural photography, Peter has always been a keen photographer. He has recently developed these skills further, setting up a new creative initiative called FOTOG. This focuses on producing photographic artworks on social, cultural, architectural and urban themes, Peter’s aim being to artistically record and celebrate a wide range of environments, activities and issues.
PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITIONS & DISPLAYS: Peter has experience in preparing photographic work for exhibition, both in galleries and web based galleries. FOTOG specialises in producing a range of photographic displays types, such as large scale canvases and prints on aluminium, acrylic and glass. More unusual items produced for clients include jigsaws and mousemats, based on unique photographs undertaken as part of a client brief. Peter has so far displayed work at the Community Focus Open Exhibition at the Arts Depot in North Finchley (December 2008) and on the We Are All Artists internet gallery (Jan 09 on).
UNIQUE WORKS FOR CLIENTS: FOTOG has had experience in working closely with clients to understand their photographic needs, often producing unique photo-works. Should you have a favourite building, space, place or urban people activity (street markets etc), then please contact We Are All Artists and Peter will contact you for a further discussion.
