Danielle Leach

Danielle Leach
artist specialising in illustration and fine art

Pictures that make you make a story.
Danielle enjoys making images that suggest a narrative; her work is often shown without title or explanation in order to encourage the viewer to build up their own story or ideas about the work.
Her aims are to provide a starting point for the viewers own imagination to give the images story and meaning.

Danielle is also interested in the connection between the arts and the sciences, with her husband (A Scientist) she runs a discussion and collaboration group for Artists and Scientists.

Using the combination and layering of mixed media, including ink, paint, print, photography and digitally manipulated imagery, Danielle Leach enjoys producing work with illustrative qualities. She is influenced by what surrounds her: illustration, graphic novels, design, literature, films, and music.
